Whether it's a story about what Grandad did in the War, or about a passion for music, our team are ready to produce interviews with family members, add photographs and home video archive to create a unique historical document to share with your children and extended family.We offer both fixed price production packages and a bespoke service to meet your budget and fulfill your creative requirements. BORN OUT OF A LOVE OF HISTORYMFLV was started because I, Adam Loretz was fascinated by my Fathers stories : of both my grandfathers adventures growing bananas in Australia in the 1930’s, to my Dads own youth, growing up in the 60’s....

On longer or bespoke videos you will have an opportunity to preview the video and suggest small alterations***.DISTRIBUTION Our videos are shot in Ultra High Definition (2160P 25) and are made available as a video file (to play on a computer, Console, iPad etc), just name your device and we will give you the best quality version. * Videoing in your home is subject to our discretion for suitability, so we can ensure the quality of the production. Camera shy? We can just use your voice.* *Our Premium and Deluxe packages include filming of multiple interviewee’s***Once editing is complete on longer or bespoke productions you will be invited to preview the edit and suggest small alterations

THE PRODUCTION PROCESS:PRE PRODUCTIONFirst, take a look at our attractive, fixed price production packages then contact us. If you require something extra, please send us the detail of your requirements and we will create a bespoke package for you.During our pre production consultation we will help you gather your archive of photographs and video assets and outline of the stories you want to tell. With this plan and your input on your creative needs we can proceed to production.PRODUCTIONYour family legacy video packages are based around a videoed interview in your home, where you can comfortably tell your stories*. Each story becomes a chapter in your final video, making it easy for us to plan, and you to enjoy the production . Whether you tell your stories by yourself or with a sibling**, an interviewee is always present with a predetermined running order to keep you on track.POST PRODUCTIONOnce we have shot your interview and collected your photographs and or archive video to add in to the final production, we will begin to edit your family legacy video. Choosing a production package means that your videos duration and content will be largely predetermined, so editing is typically around a week for our Standard package.

A cost will be approximated using Google Maps and affordable accommodation if necessary and be emailed to you.CopyrightYou are only permitted to use images, video, or music that you own, or are licensed for use in your legacy video by myfamilylegacyvideo.co.ukOwnershipYour final video is a commission under the work for hire law, myfamilylegacyvideo.co.uk retains the right to use small approved sections of the video for marketing purposes. Force MajeurIn the event of ill health, or dangerous travel/ weather conditions from either party prior to the shoot, then the shoot shall be rescheduled.InsuranceOur production crew are insured and whilst all measures are taken for safety, interviewees feature in this video at their own risk.
